Mr & Mrs Solomons

The epic wedding of Laura & Tom

Where do I start... This was like no other wedding I've done before. From the get go Laura & Tom wanted an informal wedding and boycotted many of the 'traditional' wedding aspects… which I was instantly excited about. The venue was Tom's parent's house in Ashridge, a beautiful house which had gardens big enough to enable Tom and Laura to have their dream day. There are way too many highlights from the day to mention all of them so here's just a few...

The ceremony took place in the middle of a beautiful woods… a first for me!

Laura and Tom walked down the aisle to a hoard of confetti bubbles

Guests drank from personalised jam jars and helped themselves to a buffet of drinks

The guests were kept entertained all day long with every garden/fete game you can think of including hook the duck, tin can alley, splat the rate and twister!

Tom and Laura surprised their guest with a vintage ice cream truck and a surprise Crepe van and when the groom forces you to have an ice cream, one must oblige : )

The band wasn’t just any old band, it was Tom’s own band and he couldn’t resist taking to the stage to show off his talents.

The whole day was just superb. There was never a dull moment and everyone was wowed by every element and surprise of the day… it was clear just how hard Tom and Laura had worked. Thank you guys for letting me be part of such an epic wedding!

Oh and did I mention that Tom & Laura HANDMADE over 1km of bunting to decorate the marquee and gardens!! It took over 8 months! So if anyone needs any bunting…
