Pam & Peter
The wedding of Pam & Peter who got married at St Albans Cathedral - 1st October
I was incredibly excited when Pam and Peter asked me to photograph their wedding as they were getting married in St Albans Cathedral, a place I'd always wanted to work in. Not only is it one of the oldest cathedrals in England but it's just an amazing place to be able to take photos.
Pam arrived by horse and carriage through the streets of St Albans and right up to the front doors of the cathedral - a truly beautiful scene!
The ceremony took place in the Lady Chapel at the north end of the cathedral so it was private away from the public. The architecture along with the history of the building and the immense size of the cathedral made this place just magical to photograph.
After the ceremony Pam and Peter hopped back onto the horse and carriage and headed to the charming St Michaels Manor for their wedding reception. Being that the lovely groom Peter is a former president of St Albans and District Chamber of Commerce, it was big news that he was getting hitched so I was contacted by the Herts Advertiser newspaper to see if I could send over some photos of the happy couple in the horse and carriage for the paper to print. Here's the article....
It really was an absolute joy meeting this lovely couple and I was thrilled to be able to share their amazing wedding day with them.
